The De—Institutionalization Grant Scheme Contact Person: The Programme Manager (javid.akhundov@nhe-az.org) NHE is planning to intensify its efforts in the area of De—Institutionalization. This will be done by enabling parents of disabled children to keep their own children at home. To reach this goal, parents need to be made aware of their rights. The process of transitioning to a life outside the institution for children and youth who live in institutions will be followed closely. NHE will provide financial support to the local NGO “Goncha” in order to assist it in setting up a resource centre for vulnerable families with handicapped children in the Baku and Absheron area. Project Duration: 1/2009—12/2012 |
